Matteo Berrettini is playing his first ATP Challenger event since March 2024.

The opening day of main-draw action at the ATP Challenger 175 events in Cagliari and Aix-en-Provence features several stars in action.
Matteo Berrettini will compete on home soil at the Sardegna Open in Cagliari, where the Italian is making his tournament debut against American Patrick Kypson on Tuesday. Stan Wawrinka is continuing his farewell season at the Open Aix Provence Crédit Agricole in France. The 41-year-old meets eighth Sebastian Ofner in the first round.
