Northern Ireland women: Michael McArdle’s side to play remaining Nations League games at Mourneview Park

Northern Ireland women will play their two remaining 2027 World Cup qualifying home games at Mourneview Park.

Michael McArdle’s first game as NI manager will take place at the home of Irish Premiership side Glenavon against Malta on Tuesday, 14 April.

They will then travel to Malta for the second of April’s double-header on Saturday, 18 April.

NI will make the trip to Turkey on Friday, 5 June for their final away game before their final home game against Switzerland on Tuesday, 9 June which will also be played at the Lurgan venue.

Under interim boss and former Glenavon player and coach Kris Lindsay, Northern Ireland lost their first home game of the qualifying campaign 1-0 to Turkey at Mourneview.

That came after a 2-0 defeat to Switzerland in Lausanne in their opening game, which leaves NI third in the table and without a point from their first two qualifiers.
