The final tee times of the second round of the 2026 Masters have teed off, and the cutline is coming into focus. Check out below for the Masters cut rules, projected cutline and more.
Masters cut rules
The cutline at the Masters is a little different from other majors. The PGA Championship and Open Championship only reduce the field to the top 70 (and ties) after 36 holes, while the U.S. Open cuts the field to the top 60 (and ties). At Augusta National, the field gets chopped even farther.
At the conclusion of 36 holes, only the top 50 (and ties) will stick around for the weekend, making the Masters cut one of the smallest in all of golf.
