The ISPS HANDA Senior Open Championship is to be staged at Royal Porthcawl in 2027.
The only senior major played in Europe will take place on the south Wales links for the fourth time after previous editions in 2014, 2017 and 2023.
Royal Porthcawl, which successfully staged the AIG Women’s Open in 2024, will host the stars of men’s senior golf from July 22-25 next year.
Bernhard Langer won the 2014 and 2017 events at the course, with fellow German Alex Cejka beating Padraig Harrington to the title in 2023.
“The golf course is rated by many as one of the best in the country and we look forward to seeing the legends of the game compete there once again,” said championship director Edward Kitson.
