Wanna make those cobbles (or the North American equivalent, potholes) disappear underneath you? The new Vittoria Corsa PRO Control 38mm and 42mm options should do just that.

Designed as the more rugged sibling in their race-level Corsa PRO lineup, the “Control” models get additional puncture resistance with a 30% thicker and 13% wider tread patch.
There’s also a narrow anti-puncture belt under the center of the tread patch, plus a bead shield to reinforce the bead from abrasion.

But they still claim to be super supple, using the same 320tpi cotton-corespun casing that makes these popular road tires.
The tread uses their Race Formulation rubber with Graphene and Silica mixed in for all-conditions grip. It has a progressive, v-shaped tread pattern for cornering grip, but remains solid and smooth in the center to roll faster.

The new 38/42mm sizes join the existing 26/28/30/32/34mm options, and retail is set at $106.99 per tire (€95.95). The tires will be available this month for everything shy of real gravel. Meaning, they’re perfect for pavé, cobbles, or even hard packed, compacted gravel.
