Jannik Sinner moved into the Top 10 on the all-time ATP Masters 1000 winning streak list Sunday when he captured the trophy at the Miami Open presented by Itau.
The Italian defeated Jiri Lehecka in the Miami final to earn his 17th consecutive win at the Masters 1000 level. Only six other players — including Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal — have reached that mark or earned longer winning streaks at Masters 1000. Djokovic currently holds the record for the longest streak with 31 wins.
Before Sinner, Alcaraz won 17 consecutive matches at the level in 2025, from the second round in Monte-Carlo until the second round in Paris. Prior to that run, there had not been a new Top-10 winning streak at Masters 1000 events since 2016, when Djokovic reached 22 in a row. Now, with Sinner’s 17th straight win, two such streaks have occurred within a year.
Sinner’s last loss at a Masters 1000 event came at the 2025 Rolex Shanghai Masters, where the Italian was forced to retire during the deciding set of his third-round clash with Tallon Griekspoor.
