Sinner has returned to No. 1 for the first time since the week of 3 November 2025 after he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in a No. 1 and title shootout on Sunday in Monte-Carlo. The 24-year-old, who earned a 7-6(5), 6-3 victory, has now won four consecutive Masters 1000 titles. Only Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have also accomplished the same feat. Sinner begins his 67th week at No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings on Monday, moving one week clear of Alcaraz.
