The ‘Sunshine Double’ at Indian Wells and Miami delivered its usual dose of spectacular shot making, and ATP Tour stars rose to the occasion with a series of stunning efforts in the race for March’s Hot Shot of the Month presented by Yokohama.
At the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, doubles specialist Lucas Miedler brought fans to their feet with around-the-net-post winners in consecutive matches, while Daniil Medvedev fired a running backhand past Carlos Alcaraz during his semi-final win in California.
The action continued at the Miami Open presented by Itau, where Alexander Bublik showcased his flair with a brilliant tweener-forehand combination against Matteo Berrettini. The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings, Alcaraz delivered one of the standout lobs of the 2026 season so far against Sebastian Korda.
