This article took a while to put together because I wanted to play several rounds of golf in each of these polos (and quite a few others) before giving you a full rundown of the best women’s golf shirts of 2026.
Some of these brands were already staples in my wardrobe while others were completely new to me this year and quickly became favorites. I tested these shirts during actual rounds, practice sessions, walking rounds and plenty of very hot days on the course.
I’ll probably continue adding to this guide throughout the season as I come across more options worth mentioning but for now this should give you a solid look at what’s good, what’s comfortable and what’s worth wearing.
As always, if you have questions about fit, sizing or what worked best for me, don’t hesitate to reach out. I also recently finished my guide to the best women’s golf shoes of 2026 which you can find here.
TL;DR: My Favorite Women’s Golf Shirts of 2026
Sun Day Red is one of the most impressive new golf apparel brands I’ve tried in a long time. More importantly, it feels like it was designed for women who play golf and care about scoring, comfort and movement on the course. If you want apparel that performs during competitive rounds without sacrificing style, this is the brand I’d point you toward first.

If you’re tired of replacing golf polos every season because they fade or lose their shape, RLX is still the best I’ve found. I honestly haven’t worn another women’s polo that holds up better over time. The snap buttons, structured collar and tailored fit make these feel polished every single time you wear them.

AndersonOrd was one of my favorite discoveries this year. The Palm Dot Polo fits true to size, washes well and pairs easily with multiple skort colors which makes it incredibly versatile. I also think the brand looks significantly better in person than it does online so this may be one you simply have to trust me on until you get it in your hands.

The Cool Gwyneth Polo became one of my go-to hot weather shirts this year. The fit is flattering without being restrictive and the fabric performs really well during warm rounds. If you want a country club look but still need true performance apparel, this line is worth a look.

I typically don’t love sleeveless golf polos but the Sankaty Sleeveless Polo in my exception. The fit is true to size and the design has just enough detail to make it easy to build a golf outfit around it. I especially like pairing the navy version with a white Shep Shirt which feels like a staple layering piece for women golfers.

When I worked in the golf industry, Peter Millar women’s polos were always staples in my wardrobe. They hold up well, fit consistently and always look good on the course. If you want one dependable performance polo you can buy in multiple colors and wear constantly, this is probably it.

Bad Birdie makes some really fun women’s golf polos. I especially like the floral patterns paired with solid skorts because they create easy outfit combinations without feeling overdone. I would recommend sizing up here since the medium fit me better than my usual small.

I know this is technically a guide about golf polos but if your club doesn’t require collars, Addison Bay deserves a mention. The active mesh fabric is breathable, lightweight and great for walking, practice sessions and I’ve even used it to play pickleball. I also love Addison Bay quarter-zips and find myself layering this shirt underneath them regularly.

Zero Restriction is another brand that leans heavily into true golf performance apparel. The Chloe Cap Sleeve Quarter-Zip is breathable, comfortable and a nice change if you prefer a zipper over a traditional collar. Zero Restriction also makes some of my favorite skorts on the market so I’d strongly consider the full outfit from this brand.

At first, I thought the Karley Boat Stripe would just be a fun style piece but the fabric and comfort really impressed me. The slightly higher sleeve design creates a nice in-between look if you can’t decide to wear sleeved or sleeveless shirts. It’s cute, comfortable and still works during a serious round of golf.

If you appreciate a classic cotton golf polo, the Margie Polo is one of my favorite finds this year. The fit is slightly more generous, the fabric feels soft without looking sloppy and it works just as well off the course as it does during a round. I tested the Cameo Pink and the subtle stripe-like detail is a nice feature.
