If you’ve been following Dicky’s dive into 32″ wheels, you know that Industry Nine has been working on a 32″ wheelset of their own. We finally got some official word on the wheels at Sea Otter, although Industry Nine is still keeping a few details under wraps until later this year.

The Hush 32″ Wheels

Industry Nine is calling their 32″ platform The Hush, though it’s not much of a secret anymore. We’re told that I9 plans to offer The Hush in both MTB and Gravel options this fall with a carbon layup that has been tweaked for the 32″ wheel size. The wheels shown were 24h, which suggests that they’ll use the Solix hub.

You may notice that the carbon rims don’t have the typical Convergence Tech that the I9/We Are One Compositise rims are known for. According to I9, that’s because they want to make sure the rim is viable before making more complicated molds. These rims will be made in British Columbia, and should be priced similarly to other carbon wheelsets at around $2,400 for the set.

You’ll also be able to get them in the usual I9 anodized colors, although those usual colors are changing…

New Anodized Colors Coming

Currently, you’ll find that the anodized color count across the line has been reduced from 12 to 7 options. That’s because fresh new colors are coming, though I9 hasn’t settled on the new colors just yet. They had a few samples at the show of colors they’re considering, which are all more muted earth tones. We can’t wait to see what the final colors will be!
