Chase Jackson is focused on the major prize, the gold medal at this Friday’s World Indoor Champs Women’s shot put Final, in Torun, Poland. At World Indoors, Chase has a silver from 2022, and bronzes in both 2024 and 2025.
After Chase Jackson won her U.S. title on March 1 at the Ocean Breeze Athletics Complex. Chase set an AR in 20.44 meters, and she looked so happy and so relaxed. Her interview with the media was just a lot of fun!

As the media surrounded Chase in the mixed zone in the U.S. Indoor Championships, Chase told the media that he wanted the gold at Torun. Chase said, smiling, “I’m so sick of doing indoors, and the only way I’m gonna stop is if I finally get a gold medal.”

The ring at Ocean Breeze is very fast. Shot putters love speed, but they have to control it. Abria Smith set her PB, and Chase got psyched. Chase told the media that she was motivated and hit 20.44 meters, a new American record, and for a few days, the second-best throw in the world. Then, Jessica Schindler, NED, the European champion and World silver medalist, hit 20.69 meters at the Uber Arena on March 6, 2026, in Berlin, Germany. Jessica’s previous world-leader was a 20.49m throw at Apeldoorn Ominisport Arena in February 2026. Jessica Schindler, Chase Jackson, and Sarah Mitton could be the top three!

The Women’s shot put should be fun to watch. Please do not miss a throw!
Simple, Easy Goals…
Chase Jackson told the media, ” I just want to win World Indoors and World Outdoors. Simple, easy goals.
I suggest that the World Champion in Budapest 2023, Eugene 2022 and the silver medalist in Tokyo 2025 throw a couple of big ones, because Jessica Schindler and Sarah Mitton are ready to throw big time!
